Free racing tip #832 :: Drinking less beer on the night before the race will result in a faster race time.

Well, duh. But when faced with the rare opportunity to drink all night with the ladies, I'm taking it. In the pursuit of life balance, you know. Plus it was really hot, like 75 or more. Last week it was in the 50s. I'm sure that slowed me down, too.

You guys know I drink. 9 pints is a bit more than usual, but did no one notice THERE WAS A BOMB SCARE IN A GROCERY STORE??? Shocked

More people die from something alcohol-related than something bomb-related every year. (excluding wartime - probably)

Nothing, silly. I'm just questioning the focus here. Weird what people pick up on.

Not true, actually. But whatever. This is a ridiculously judgmental crowd. Very pious and sanctimonious comments here.

Between 1982 and 1993, 266,291 deaths in the United States were alcohol-related -- one fatality every 30 minutes. source

I can't find any relevant bomb realted death statistics.

I'm sorry ... I didn't realize you were talking the small nation of the US. Worldwide your statement is incorrect. I would agree in the US it's true.

Worldwide, alcohol accounted for 2 million deaths in 1989. - http://www.worldbank.org/html/extdr/hnp/hddflash/hcnote/hrn013.html

You were in the small nation of the US at the time right?

/I still can't find any stats for bomb deaths worldwide.

You're right. I was appropriately outraged about the bomb scare as I read the report but once I got to the number of brews, I cued right in on that. Is that telling of me and the rest who did the same? hmm I'm removed from the opportunity of doing that sort of drinking. Maybe that's why for me. hmm again

PH, one word disputes your claim: JIHAD.

Alright, enough already. I thought this was deleted, as it should have been. Instead it appears in a thread that I supposedly started, which I did not. This was carved out of a freakin' race report, where the overly sensitive inappropriately latched onto an insignificant detail while overlooking the race itself. Seriously, get out more often. The minute details of my life should not be so critically important to you. LET IT GO.

And just so we're clear, no emoticons. No ghetto slang. Just me. I mean this, no misinterpretations or misunderstandings can be made about what I said. Now you're free to get back to discussing your favorite colors, weekend updates, or whatever other inane banter you can come up with.
