I have given this thread the "once over" three freaking times...and I fail to see any evidence that this is a "ridiculously judgmental crowd". As this is spread over two different forums, it is difficult to determine just what happened, or what the original post was even about.

I think Cappy is a very able moderator, and I support his opinion to edit as he sees fit. It is also my opinion that PH is a very tolerant administrator and Shelfie is probably the nicest person I have never met.

Now keep in mind that I have been in my share of knock down / drag out fights in the "other" forum, and this little tiff is not even in the same class as a good website fight.

Whenever you post something in a thread, you should expect that someone is going to take issue with it, or even take a little shot in fun. It is our nature as humans, and the internet provides a medium for far flung people of different life experience and lifestyles to communicate and comment.

I have only had one instance where I questioned a comment, and I PM'd the person to see what was up.

For Pete’s sake, if there is an underlying issue with the people involved, it’s time to get it out in the open, or else it’s time for cooler heads to prevail.

I think the Ranger has clearly stated that Ally Sheedy's performance was far superior to that given by Fisher Stevens. So in your face, Shelfie!!!

Sadly, Number 5 gave the best performance in the whole movie - edging out Steve Guttenberg. But just barely.

This case is closed.

I have nothing to say. I just felt inexplicably compelled to post that I am disapointed that the Indian guy wasn't really Indian.

Bad BAD Hollywood.

I am going to be the bigger person and not stoop to responding in such a childish manner. Is that OK with you, Mr. Poopy Pants?

I hate coming in late to a party.

Elkid...I hope if we finally get to race together you'll let me buy you 10 pints the night before. I need all the help I can get.

Cappy...it's your decision! PH gave you the power and I think you do a great job.

Now, on to my real complaint...NO MORE BASHING THE GOLDEN GIRLS!!! Time to go find a Sophia Avatar...
