Congratulations Rob!
I'm somewhat disappointed about the lack of drama in your report.

Not bad for an old man!
So are you going to try to figure out the cramping and take another swing at it?

Probably. I'm a glutton for punishment. Although, at the moment tottering 26.2 feet would seem like an accomplishment.

Congrats on your first marathon!!!
A sub-four is awesome, and very impressive considering the muscle cramping issues. You should be proud!!
Edited to add that if you are looking for a PR course and don't want to travel very far, the Columbus, OH marathon course is flat and fast. It sounds like you'd possibly be able to get a BQ out of it, based on your first marathon time and the circumstances.

Sub-four?!?
Holy crap, Rob, you are one tough hombre.
Sounds like a day that would have done in many a lesser runner (like me).
Huge props on that finish - you're one of my heroes. :

Sub-4 Fantastic!!
You did spectacular Rob, despite the cramping you had. I'm excited about how you did and you should be as well. 26.2 miles is quite a distance to cover. You know as well as I, it's not something to be slighted. It is something to respect.
Congrats to you. You're in. You've joined one of the many few who ever accomplish this.

Well, the Flying Pig is fun but challenging, with a BIG hill around mile 6 (unless they have changed the course again). If you want a tough course with good crowd support...
If I had your speed I'd work on the BQ at either Columbus or Chicago. BUt I'm just jealous.
Congratulations again!!! This is one of the best feelings ever, no?
