I sure don't think he's worth amending the constitution.

Since he wasn't born here he would need the constitution amended, and I don't see that happening in our life time.
I know he has made some comments at press conferences that weren't very popular.
Don't know much about his politics except he seems to be more of a moderate.

Not anytime soon, I don't think he has enough experience. And I'm still nervous about amending the constitution for him, not because of who he himself is, but because of what that could open the door for in the future. I really don't think a foreigner should be running this country. Just MHO.

Read a little tidbit the other day that Maria is a huge part of his decision making process. Reality very well could be that she's the brains in Sacramento. If you're keeping score, Arnold breaks from Republican lines quite often. There seems to be that thought she'll be stepping into the fray soon. So whatever track she might take.. Senator, Governor, if she's a success, Arnold might just be 'First-Gentleman'.. I could see that being more likely than Prez.

I just couldn't see amending the Constitution to the immediate benefit of just one guy, even though in the future it could help others.
And there is some precedent for this: In the waning centuries of the Roman Empire any number of Germanic (albeit somewhat latinized) Kings ruled as Emperor of the West.
But, then again, that didn't turn out too good in the end, anyway

that's sooooooo back to the future...
I do not support the amendment, therefore, no Arnold for President. If the amendment by some odd chance would pass, I still would not vote for Arnold for President.

I honestly don't know enough about him to make that call yet... but I don't think they should amend the Constitution to allow non-US born American citizens to run for President.

I'm torn on the issue, being the daughter of foreign-born American citizens.
I know my parents would do anything for this country--my dad's regret was that he was too old to "join up" to fight for his new country.
Nowadays, though, we have a lot of people who want to be here but don't really have pride about America or being Americans.
On the other hand, opening that door seems like such a slippery slope.
