Tomorrow is our "picnic" day here at work and then next week is plant shutdown. There is a big tent set up out in the parking lot and they bring in caterers to do burgers and sausage sammichs, potato salad, beans, etc. plus all the pop and ice cream you can force down. Naturally we all see how much we can eat and then nobody does squat all afternoon except try to stay awake. This idiot in our purch. dept scheduled a friggin' meeting from 12:30 to 2:30 to discuss natural gas suppliers.  After a couple of sausage sandwiches, a burger and some beans i'm gonna have all the natural gas we'll need for a month. I'm pissed, my yearly screwoff afternoon is now shot.
Okay, I'm done whining.

Phone it in!
Call the phone in the meeting room and ask to be put on the speaker phone so you can stick close by the food and graze while everyone else can listen to you swallow
