Aerobic HR range vs. anaerobic threshold

I've looked back on my year in my log and found the following key points:
[1] My anaerobic threshold has moved up to ~85% of my maxHR
[2] The majority of my runs lately are at ~80% of my maxHR

Does this mean that if I'm at 80% of my max HR I'm still training in an aerobic range? Does pushing the AT farther up expand your aerobic HR range?

I'm really hoping for a "yes" answer here....

Probably not. You are in gray area. To high for aerobic and to low for AT, tempo. We all gravitate there or else we feel pathetically slow.

Yes, you can do more aerobic work without hitting AT.
