Ho Le CrapShocked I'm not so sure about this. Confused I spent 1 hour n 15 minutes and managed to get 1 in. That's it. Neutral And that seemed like an accident really. Embarassed She put in the other and I managed some how to get them both out. Eventually. Mad She says it will get easier but I don't know.

Thank you, evil twin. You have re-affirmed my decision to never get contacts is the right one. Smile

it really isn't a big deal. I have them and use them all the time, when I am not at work. After a few days you learn the tricks to putting them in and it is second nature.

the trick is to look up while placing it on your eye. Personally I can't stand wearing glasses, contacts suck but not as bad as glasses do.

It took me 8 years to get glasses/contacts cuz our insurance don't cover it. The sugery isn't covered either. Neutral

I have had contacts since high school and I love it. As soon as you learn whatever trick it takes to keep you from blinking, it gets really easy. The hard part is keeping that eye open long enough to get the lens in place. I love my contacts and I would love to get the surgery so I wouldn't need those either but so far I can't afford that.

Definitely try the looking up or looking away from your nose while trying to place the lens in that area by your nose and letting your eye slide under the lens.

Don't give up on the lenses yet.

RB is absolutely right. It will take some time to get used to and will be a major pain in the ass until you get practiced at it.
