She was miserable and tired but she came home.
Robin met with her two primary pulmonology docs for a while before she left and we will all have a big sit down early next month for the plan with Abby.
It is still unknown why Abby keeps having recurrent pneumonia but it is not from any forieign (i.e. milk or food) bodies.
Right now, any surgery is delayed until at least July at the earliest, more likely September.
Before she is completely removed from the ventilator, the docs want her to go through a cold without needing the ventilator to help her. Once that happens then they know for sure that she can be removed safely.
On a side note, Hannah has just gotten her 4th ear infection in the last 4 months (2nd in 3 weeks) and JJ also has pneumonia. The hits just keep on coming.

Have you guys ever seen an immunologist, to make sure there are no immune system deficiences in any of your kids?? It might be worth looking into since they are sick quite often, separate of Abby's issues.
Did you ever have your house tested too, for air quality, allergens, etc?? This is just bizarre, I mean, I know little kids get sick a lot, but yours are sick a WAY lot, and you guys too, probably partly from the stress of the kids always being sick, but......it's worth a thought maybe.
Glad to hear Little Miss is home!!
