Yesterday Nichole told me the mailman honked at her. I ask her why and she said: " Because I made the honking signal." It still didn't hit me until she raised her arm over her head and made like she was pulling something. LOL Honking signal!! LOL

It's a good thing the mailman didn't think Nicole was raising the roof. They hate it when people raise the roof on them.

My kids used to do that from the backseat of the car. I couldn't figure out wtf people kept honking at me for.... I think they enjoyed the old man's road rage more than getting people to honk.

I'm old enough to know what that "pulling down" signal means...

It's a signal for truck drivers to sound their air horns. There is a lanyard that hangs near the top of the cab and the driver has to reach up and pull it.

Scuse me...gota go take my Geritol... Sad

We did that too, but only to semis.

My Girls team did that to several semis this summer on our way to and from basketball camps.

Most of the drivers did respond. Although probably just because he was getting attention from a van of teen aged girls.

...we're not talking about the pulling down signal? ...i just assumed the "honk signal" was amurkin for the *does arm motion but you can't see it* signal that makes semis toot their horn.

i've never ever seen anyone do some kind of honking motion.

the pulldown is the way to go.
