I have that at times. Sometimes referred to as Blonde Moments.
So I order chinese from a new place, it's just up the street. Phone it in, then leave a few minutes later to pick it up. No worries. So I see the sign of the restaurant, but there's not an empty parking space near it, so I park in front of a different restaurant (it's one of those strip mall deals). So I go into the door right there in front of the Jeep, go to the counter, and tell them I placed an order, but she didn't take my name so maybe it's under my phone number since she got that. He just looks at me, says "Oh, did she give it away?" I'm like what? I just look at him, he's just looking at me, and I finally say, "Well, is it ready?" He says "Well I don't know!" More looks at each other, when someone comes out from the back and asks if he can help me, and I say that I placed an order, he asks what did I order, and I tell him that I ordered some beef & broccoli, etc...
Turns out that I walked into the GREEK restaurant, and they of course direct me to the chinese restaurant 2 doors down. I was so
I sometimes wonder how I can walk and chew gum at the same time.

I've been known to put stuff on the top of my car and drive away.

Don't feel bad-I've done plenty of stupid things for no reason at all such as using my student card as a banking card...

HAR!!!
Hey, I've put stuff on top of my car too. Mostly after running, so I'm using depleted oxygen as my excuse. I've left water bottles, my watch, a shirt, other things on top of my car after a run. I usually notice when it rolls down my back windshield and rests against the spoiler.

Twice when I've lost my wallet (I've lost it 3 times total, all within a couple weeks of each other) it was because I stuck it on the top of the car and drove off...
Good to see though that I'm in good company.

I define the Blonde Moment. But welcome to my world, make yourself at home.

I've been a master at losing stuff for a long time. Losing my keys was an issue several times. One time I found them in my sons clothes when he was about 1 yr old. He discovered them on the table and decided to play with them. Lost them down the front of his shirt. We searched for hours before finding them when his diaper needed changed....
