I see Kevin a lot running around town. When he first got here, it seems he was on the Amazon trail almost every day. It is funny, but most of the elite runners in town I have never seen actually training. He was the very last qualifier to get into the trials race. Once some people scratched, there were 26 people under the provisional standard, and only 24 were going to get to race. But they stretched things a bit and #25 Greg Jimmerson (who I know) and #26 Kevin Castille got in.
There are at least a dozen current Eugene residents in the trials, so it makes it extra exciting to watch with all the locals to cheer for.
