Bravo.

I have to thank all the anti-war protestors, though. I look at those idiots and freaks, and it reaffirms that I am right headed about support for this war and our troops. My stomach turns when I think about how these dopes compare Saddam to Bush. These people always blame America first and consider the rest of the world to be reasonable. I guess the Iraqi's who have testified about the torture and murder perpetuated upon their people are deluded, and the peaceniks know better.

I mean really, look at these freaks:

God Bless America, and Good bless our Armed Forces.

cry

I can't tell you how much your words mean to me right now. I'm forwarding this to my husband--I know he'll like to hear it. Thanks.

Edited to add a snippet of an article I read:

we should also remember that President Bush and his cabinet are briefed daily, even hourly, on the War on Terror and threats to our security. They are privy to information gathered around the world concerning the Middle East, the threats to America, the intentions of terrorists and terrorist-supporting governments. They are in constant communication with the CIA, the FBI, Interpol, NATO, The United Nations, our own military, and that of our allies around the world. We cannot simply believe that we have full knowledge of the threats because we watch CNN!! We cannot believe that we are in any way as informed as our leaders.

These activists have no intelligence-gathering agents, no fact-finding groups, no insight into the minds of those who would destroy our country.

All I see on these protests are people who are just baiting trouble from either opposing protesters or the police.
I have seen the Quakers )aka Friends) who protests with signs and candles. They stand quietly and do no insitigate anyone. They had a protest in Radnor last week. Guess what, no police were there, no cameras and no other press. They stood with candles and signs on a major road. It was more likely more effective than any other protest

I think these people go to these things and just try to get face time and really do not know what are the issues.

It also makes me angry because, although I value the freedom of speech have these people EVER visited Iraq? Have they seen the intense poverty and suffering these people go through? They would do the Iraqis more good to go be a missionary in country giving aid and support to the people.

And my second and final point: these people are purposely using up valuable resources (our Po Po) when they are already stretched to the limit.

You may/may not be surprised at who is funding these protests, btw.

Please, protest all you want, but do it peacefully. Isn't that intense irony when a PEACE protest that is protesting VIOLENCE turns VIOLENT???? Confused

I don't mind the peace protesters at all, but when the cross the line and disrupt traffic, and break the law that annoys me. Go ahead and protest but don't be assclowns about it.

Amen! I'm a firm believer that people have a right to a peaceful protest. If you're lined up with candles, or sitting at the courthouse, great. I don't agree with your stand, but firmly belive you can do it. (I do think your timing is HORRIBLE) These idiots who are interfereing with other peoples lives, commiting crimes, and making a scene for the reporters...I have no use for. My guess is if the cameras weren't there, they wouldn't be either.
