..if I get out of here on normal time.
No big plans. I was supposed to go with the husband on a business trip to Charlotte, but my oldest dog (14 years) is refusing to eat. So we've been hand-feeding him food-anything we can get him to eat, beef, cheerios, cookies, chicken breast-and that usually takes about a 1/2 hour. We can't leave him with the dogsitter because she's a teenager and is just coming in to leave fresh water and food out, she doesn't have time to hand feed dogs. And, I would feel really bad for the dogsitter if my dog died on her watch.
He's really spry for not eating. He still goes on 1/2 mile hikes around the property daily, but he's so thin. Some days he won't eat at all, and then the next day he will eat.
So I will at least get to sleep in and spend some quality time with the hounds!

Old dogs don't rate highly in opinion polls, but they give us warmth and loyalty and rest.
