53 degrees is cold. I just gave the dh permission to stay home and give the dogs breakfast at the normal time, he doesn't need to be standing around in the horrible weather.
Race day weather: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. High near 65F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50%
I'm going to take my disposable Cleveland Indians rain poncho, the type that is one step up from a garbage bag. If I start to overheat I can just ditch it. It should just kind of flap in the wind.
I don't mind running so much in the rain, it's the standing around being cold and wet before the race starts that stinks.
See ya!
