America's image internationally

You are actually basing your vote on America's international image (over our national security)?

I'd say international image and national security are pretty intertwined. Yes, both will not always mirror each other, but it's hard to argue that one is more important than the other. A poor international image can be put you in jeopardy of having more conflict against you.

1. whom they would select for the Supreme Court (esp. related to Roe v. Wade leanings)
2. healthcare
3. foreign policy and not just related to the war... show me that you're not only aware but interested in other parts of the world and how the States will interact with those parts (nuclear states, war-torn and AIDS/HIV ravaged sub-Saharan Africa, for example)

Are you kidding? NCLB is killing education. It's one of the worst pieces of legislation ever written.

Cliff notes of NCLB sounds great there is annual testing in reading, math and science. Each school has to made consistent progress over the next 9 years so that 100% of the student are proficient in the tested areas. If they dont meet their goals they become a School In Need of Assistance and can eventually be taken over or shut down. There are also teacher qualifications that need to be met.
The problems come in the details and the lack of any additional funding to implement the mandates.

Forgotten key component of the NCLB Cliff Notes - it promotes teaching to the test, NEVER a good idea. Teachers spend 25-33% of the school year making sure the students know the stuff for the test, sacrificing valuable curriculum in the process. It also doesn't into account regionalization, and assumes that children in every county regardless of state are being taught the same things (which we know isn't true).

Probably some truth to that as the NEA is the most powerful union in the country fighting change to the status quo.
