they have an interesting method to the holding madness. They have little commercials running that they interrupt with a computer voice that makes you think you're being answered "PLease continued to hold"
at least let me listen to your dumb commercials all the way through...what are we now...30 somthing minutes?

It really is a form of torture. You are just about to give up and then the stupid comerial breaks, you get your hopes up and are all excited, but it is just the computer voice play games with you.

Try pressing 0 several times and see if it won't send your to a person. Probably not, but it may make you feel better.
Then again, it may disconnect you...
What in the world is worth being on hold for 5 minutes? Much less 30?

A doctor who is open on Saturdays. My mild little nothing cold turned ugly last night. 40-something minutes later I have an appointment 30 miles across town. I remember now why I don't go to these large group clinic doctors on a normal basis.

Oh I thought it would be a wireless company. I hate holding and listening to sales pitches.

I hate putting people on hold. At work they're always telling us to put the caller on hold and answer your second line (or 3rd if we're really swamped). If I put a person on hold once, I can't do it again. It doesn't matter if there's 8 other people on my screen (not technically possible), but I finish the call.
