Posted: 10/02/05 - 07:18 Post subject: 21st Annual Farinella 5K UPDATED !!!
I feel so inadequate here with all these halvsies..
Anyway Sat Oct 1 I participated in the Farinella 5K held at my Alma Mater Seton Hall University. The day was absolutely perfect !! Sunny, no wind and start time temps around 60.
Race was three laps around the campus. I was surprised there was a mile distance anywhere on the campus... Except for a deranged cheerleader in a BMW who almost ran a couple of us over, the race was uneventful.
I did a personal best time of at least 29:05. I say at least because I did not stop my watch at the finish. Anyway it was a GREAT day for me. Afterwards there was an all you can eat for $ 5.00 brunch. (I got my money's worth on that.)

"Deranged cheerleader" is a redundancy.
Congrats on your PR mark!
