School is closed for my kiddos. I was checking last night too but it wasn't posted until this morning.
I'm anxiously waiting to see if the students and the instructors make it in at work today. I have a group from Mafia country in house, err, I hope to have them here.

I'm on a 2-hour delay today. We got about 3-4 inches of snow and ice last night. They are predicting another 4-6 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow morning.

At this point, I think they should show a list of things that are OPEN...the ticker for closed things just never ends.
My kids are home too. I would not be surprised if they're home tomorrow as well.
Yesterday at early evening they said there had been around 2000 accidents in NC. A few of the ones in/around Charlotte were fatal.
Weather didn't stop Panther fans. They lined 12 blocks by 215 yesterday afternoon to see the team off, and one newscaster estimated between 10-15,000 people out there.

Ain't that the truth.... the further north you go the more snow it takes to shut anything down.

Ok here's the deal for the Albany NY area:
We're suposed to have about 4 inches on the ground by midnight, and a total accumulation of up to 12 inches by the end on Wednesday PM.
Come on up for snowshoeing or XC skiing !!

717 closings around here today. The Goettes are off, their mom is not. So I will have to blow a vacation day.
When I rule the world, kids and parents will have the same days off.
