FANTASTIC DAY! This was supposed to be an easy day, but the weather was perfect and I was feeling great so I let it rip. Covered my flat, fast, and paved 4.6 mile route in 31:38 for a great 6:53 average pace. This took 2:30 off my previous fastest time, which is 32 seconds per mile faster!

I am racing a 4 miler this Sunday, my first race in nearly a year. My public goal was to crack 30 minutes, but secretly I was shooting to crack 28 for sub 7:00 pace. Now I have no idea what pace to shoot for. I might not have nearly as good of a day as I had in practice, as that was literally a 1 in 100 kind of day. But I also don't want to sell myself short. I'll probably go out fairly conservative (7:00?) and try to negative split.
